We’re Gaming for a Cause – December 27, 2025!
Our 6th Annual I Have Resolve Foundation Gaming Marathon is almost here — a day where gamers come together to create real impact.
As we approach our new marathon, we want to share the joy your support has already made possible for many individuals — especially for Theo, one of last year’s gaming recipients.
Theo lives with Duchenne Muscular Dystrophy and loves to game. His mom recently sent us a photo showing him fully immersed in his new system, and his smile says it all — excitement, connection, and pure happiness.
Our 2025 Mission: Inclusion Through Gaming
Gaming isn’t just play — it’s community. Your contributions help reduce social isolation by providing gaming systems to:
🎮 Individuals with disabilities who would benefit socially from a gaming system
🎮 Inclusive or adaptive programs/devices
🎮 Anyone experiencing isolation

We are honoured and incredibly grateful to share that the I Have Resolve Foundation has been selected as a 2025 Platinum Winner in the Community Organization category and a Silver Winner in the Non-Profit category for Community Votes Georgetown.

This year marks the 6th Annual I Have Resolve Foundation Gaming Marathon — a day where gamers come together to make a real impact in the lives of individuals with disabilities.
Over the past six years, our amazing gamers have played in support of causes chosen by our gaming community itself — raising funds for wheelchair swings, service animals, customized bikes, and gaming systems.
Last year, we were thrilled to celebrate Brendan as just one of the recipients who received a PlayStation 5 through our marathon. His joy reminds us of the power of connection, inclusion, and the simple happiness that gaming can bring.
Our 2025 Mission: Inclusion Through Gaming
This year, we’re again focusing on our very own marathon premise — GAMING — and its ability to bring people together.
We know that social isolation can happen for many reasons — medical conditions, accessibility challenges, or simply the difficulty of leaving home. For some, gaming offers more than entertainment; it’s a way to connect, to belong, and to feel part of a community.
That’s why this year’s fundraising will go toward purchasing gaming systems and games for:
🎮 Individuals with a disability who may benefit socially from a gaming system
🎮 Organizations offering inclusive or adaptive programs
🎮 Anyone experiencing isolation and seeking new ways to connect
How You Can Join Us

International Day of Persons with Disabilities
2025 Theme: “Fostering disability-inclusive societies for advancing social progress.”
Today, we pause to honour the strength, resilience, and brilliance of individuals with disabilities — and to recognize the importance of building a world where everyone is included, supported, and valued.
At the I Have Resolve Foundation, our work is rooted in the belief that every person deserves connection, opportunity, and a sense of belonging. We see the difference that inclusive classrooms, camps, community programs, and everyday acts of understanding can make.
But we also know there is still so much more to do — and today’s theme reminds us: social progress depends on inclusion.
This day is a call to listen more closely, lift voices that are too often overlooked, and continue creating spaces where individuals with disabilities can thrive — not just today, but every day.
To our community, our partners, our families, and especially to the individuals with disabilities who inspire our purpose: thank you. Thank you for your courage, your perspective, your joy, and your unwavering resolve. Together, we will keep building a more inclusive future — one where everyone is seen, heard, and supported.
