Sending a huge thank you to Port Stanley Royal Canadian Legion Br. 410! All month, the Legion has been fundraising in support of the I Have Resolve Foundation.

Through donations made to play cornhole, as well as selling our 50/50 tickets, they have supported our cause throughout the month of April - even noting to everyone yesterday that there is one week to go!

Yesterday, it was wonderful to spend the afternoon playing cornhole with our new friends at the Legion, and connecting with our great friends from Dreams Come True Music Studio. Sharing a special thank you to Jackie Germond Valotaire for all of her support.

A final thank you and huge note of gratitude to Vicky and Jules. We are truly overwhelmed by your kindness. Thank you for working so hard on our behalf, and for believing in our cause of disability inclusion.

We’re thrilled to introduce Macey Auger, an incredible local disability advocate who is taking on the 130th Boston Marathon on April 20th, 2026.

Macey has come up with a very creative fundraising idea, and wants to give back to Halton through “A Mile of Quarters” Macey has made a commitment to donate 60% of the Quarters raised to the I Have Resolve Foundation.

Macey is more than a runner—she’s an inclusion champion, a proud Halton Hills community member, and someone who believes deeply in the power of inclusion and creating spaces where everyone belongs. Her journey to Boston is fueled by her commitment to making a difference, not just at the finish line, but for individuals, in classrooms, and our communities.

By creating “A Mile of Quarters” Macey is helping raise awareness and support for programs that promote disability inclusion, mental wellness, and accessibility—from inclusive classroom supports to empowering community events.

“I’m running because I believe everyone deserves the chance to feel supported, included, and strong,” Macey shares. “Halton Hills is my home and where my running journey started, and this is my way of giving back—with every mile and every step.”

Join us in cheering on Macey as she runs with heart, with strength, with resolve - and please keep your change in order for us all to work together towards creating change!

This month, our Foundation is excited to begin a new chapter—introducing inclusive supports directly into classrooms.

Our goal is to help create learning spaces where every student feels supported, seen, and able to thrive. Through the Classroom of Resolve, we’re helping schools integrate practical inclusion supports that make a real difference.

When students are given the right environment, their resilience shines—and so does their potential. If you know of a local school in need of flexible seating, sensory tools, or calming resources, please reach out.

We are growing—and we’re passionate about making a meaningful difference. Join us in building classrooms where every child can learn, lead, and grow—with resolve.

“Anything Can Happen If You Let It” – Mary Poppins Reminds Us to Believe

Yesterday’s magical performances of Mary Poppins by Dreams Come True Music Studio was more than just theatre—it was a celebration of possibility, hope, and the power of imagination. Congratulations to the entire cast, crew, and creative team on an absolutely supercalifragilistic production! You brought joy to the stage and reminded us all that truly, anything can happen if you let it.

At the I Have Resolve Foundation, that message resonates deeply. We believe in the potential of every individual—especially those living with disabilities—to thrive, grow, and make their dreams come true. Through inclusive opportunities, community engagement, and advocacy, we’re working to build a world where everyone’s abilities are recognized and celebrated.

Whether on stage or in life, when we open our hearts to possibility and dare to dream big, there’s no telling what we can achieve.

Thank you, Dreams Come True Music Studio for including us in your day, for inspiring us—and thank you to our community for continuing to believe in the power of resolve.

Today, We Wear Pink — And We Stand for Inclusion

On this International Day of Pink, the I Have Resolve Foundation stands proudly in solidarity with 2SLGBTQIA+ communities and all those who continue to face discrimination, bullying, and exclusion.

The Day of Pink is more than a color. It’s a call to action — to stand up against homophobia, transphobia, and all forms of hate. It’s a reminder that inclusion is not passive; it requires courage, compassion, and commitment.

At the I Have Resolve Foundation, inclusion is at the heart of everything we do. Whether it’s breaking down barriers for people with disabilities, creating spaces where everyone belongs, or speaking out when it’s hardest — we believe that every person deserves to be seen, heard, and valued for who they are.

We wear pink not just today, but in every act of kindness, advocacy, and allyship.

Together, let’s build a world where difference is celebrated and everyone can thrive with dignity and pride.
